Mayor, Board President, Comptroller on their Budgets
Proposed Budget for Mayor shows 4 fewer employees. Mayors often shift some staff to the budgets of other departments during periods of financial crisis, giving the appearance of making sacrifices. Hopefully, someone in Media will find out whether she is actually going to do with less staff or what departments they were assigned for budget purposes.
Next Budget hearing should be Monday, May 21st, but there is nothing posted yet to City Calendar.
