National Register Nomination for United Railways Spring Avenue Substation/Trouble Station @ adjacent Rumbold Park, Jeff-Vander-Lou, 4th Ward

And the Agenda includes the legally required notice for closed session…

“Roll call vote in open session to hold a closed meeting pursuant to the following: Proceedings involving legal actions, causes of actions or litigation or confidential or privileged communications with attorneys or auditors as provided by Section 610.021 (1)RSMo. and/or Section 610.021 (17)RSMo.”

I do not recall ever seeing that on Preservation Board Agenda. It’s one of the most transparent government entities, possibly most, in City: agendas posted online way in advance of meetings, very detailed agendas, meeting minutes posted online.

I’m told the Closed Meeting is required to receive updates from City Counselor’s Office and Cultural Affairs Staff on lawsuits to overturn decisions by Preservation Board.
