DLphoto3 - CopyWe will discuss April 4th City/County Missouri/Illinois Ballot Issues and enjoy refreshing beverages.

Order food/snacks from menu. Loaded fries are always a hit.

We will go around the table and each of us will make a contribution. This kind of interaction, with everyone lending to the conversation, has worked really well at the last couple of happy hours and we want to continue the format.

dl1Pick a ballot issue, study up on it, make your pitch for or against. Alternatively, pick an issue on the ballot and ask the group a question or briefly present how you would have done a ballot issue differently. We will go around the table as often as anyone has something new to add.

If I see we’ve been crashed by a ballot issue’s supporters, I will whip out and use a timer.

St. Louis City Sample Ballot (Props A & B are Rex Sinquefield issues)

St. Louis County Sample Ballot

DLmardigrasWe had a smaller crowd than usual at the Fat Tuesday Party because of the weather. Thank you to the brave ones who came out. Playing Mardi Gras & Political Trivia was fun and we will certainly do it again.

We’ll have attendance prizes, some dubious as is the tradition.

Host buys first round.
