The 7th Ward Independent Democrats Candidate Forum for License Collector, Recorder of Deeds, and 79th District State Representative will be held 1:30-4 pm Sunday, June 10th. Place TBA, most likely Nadine’s Patio.
Candidates will receive the candidate survey and forum instructions over next 48 Hours.
We hope to soon announce the name of a very exciting Forum King of Questions (Moderator). Still working on Time Lord (Timekeeper) for the event.
The King of Questions will draw questions from the candidate surveys, read aloud the question and the answer time allotted, and each candidate will answer. The King of Questions will also ask candidates one question of his own preference.
Each candidate will be able to make an opening and closing statement. Order of speakers will be determined by drawing of straws, coin toss, or other fair and impartial manner, and after first question round the order will rotate.
The Time Lord will strictly enforce the time allotted for each speaker.
Candidate survey answers for Personal Side of the Candidate will be posted on our blog as they come in. Answers to Candidate Views portion of survey will be posted to blog after the Candidate Forum. Candidates must complete the survey according to the instructions and by the deadline in order to participate in the Forum.
Drinking and eating will be encouraged at this event.
There will be Attendance Prizes.
Voter Registration will be available.
We will be collecting school supplies and backpacks for schools in 7th Ward neighborhoods at this event. See St. Louis Public Schools Supply List.
