City Online Calendar Notice/Agenda

Per Capital Committee discussions on what would be funded (and what not) by the proposed $50 Million GO Bond Issue for August Ballot, the City has a $60M, and growing, backlog in fleet replacement, including Streets/Refuse vehicles. It is not up for funding under the proposed bond issue.

This could be the beginning of trash service privatization. The Mayor has mentioned to aldermen that she’d like to explore privatization of Refuse, Parking, Water, in addition to Lambert Airport.
