APPEAL #10976: Appeal filed by Maximus Holdings LLC from the determination of the Building Commissioner in the denial of a building permit authorizing the Appellant to construct a multifamily building with parking, per plans at 1400 Russell Blvd.

They were permitted 4/25/2017 to construct Foundation Only, which has been going on; plumbing permit issued 7/12/2017; and electrical and mechanical permits issued 7/14/2017.

Thursday Deadline to Apply for Soulard Taxing District Board

The Deadline to apply for appointment to fill three positions on Soulard Special Business District- residential property owner, commercial property renter,  residential property renter- is 5 pm Thursday, June 29th.

Public Notice for Appointment of Commissioners to the Soulard Special Business District Board of Commissioners posted 6/20/2017. 

This is the Board of Commissioners that administers the special district tax for public safety within the district.

According to the SSBD website, Board vacancies are filled upon the completion (or early termination) of existing Board Member terms, and are initially screened by the Board of Commissioners and approved by the Mayor’s office. Prior to consideration, the Application Petition and Application Parts B & C must be completed and forwarded to the Board of Commissioners.
